Gavin, who is a chef by trade, changed professions to construction when the building boom was at its peak.
In February of 2010 Gavin had been laid off from construction as a result of the economy faltering.
Karen was at that time semi - retired and helping care for her grandparents after 23 years in an office and administration profession.
As fate always has its way, a business opportunity was presented to start a company of our own in the food business.
Despite having never owned a restaurant and not really knowing where to start, like most new entrepreneurs, the possibilities were intriguing!
Enough so that we decided to take advantage of the opportunity with the attitude of “nothing ventured, nothing gained.”
So, on June 21st 2010, Central Station Grill opened its doors in Rancho Cordova, CA. The journey has been exciting and very rewarding!
The combination of Great BBQ, Phillies, Wings, and the homemade freshness of all the food served at Central Station Grill, along with the warm welcoming atmosphere makes this a place you will be glad to come back to time and again.
